General

Q What does Markemedia do?

We engineer marketing operations infrastructure. This includes workflow automation, email deliverability optimization, platform integration, and analytics systems. We build the technical foundation that allows marketing teams to scale their operations without scaling headcount proportionally.

Q Who do you work with?

We work with growth-stage companies and established enterprises that have outgrown manual marketing processes. Our typical clients have marketing teams of 5-50 people and are running campaigns across multiple channels. Industry-wise, we work across B2B SaaS, e-commerce, professional services, and fintech.

Q Where are you located?

We're headquartered in Hong Kong and work with clients globally. Our team operates across multiple time zones, which means we can often provide faster turnaround on projects and support across different regions.

Q What makes you different from other agencies?

We're engineers, not just consultants. We don't create PowerPoint strategies — we build working systems. Everything we deliver is production-ready, documented, and designed for your team to maintain. We also focus exclusively on marketing operations, which means deeper expertise than generalist agencies.

02

Process

Q How does a typical engagement start?

We start with a discovery call to understand your current stack, pain points, and goals. From there, we conduct a technical audit of your existing systems and propose a solution architecture. Once approved, we move into the build phase with regular checkpoints and iterative delivery.

Q How long do projects typically take?

It depends on scope. A focused automation project might take 2-4 weeks. A comprehensive marketing ops overhaul typically runs 2-3 months. We'll provide a detailed timeline during the architecture phase, and we're transparent about what affects delivery speed.

Q What do you need from us to get started?

Access to your existing platforms (we'll specify exactly what's needed), documentation of current processes if available, and a point of contact who understands your marketing operations. We handle the technical heavy lifting — we just need context and access.

Q How do you handle communication during projects?

We set up a shared Slack channel or your preferred communication tool for day-to-day questions. Weekly status updates keep you informed of progress. For larger projects, we schedule regular sync calls. You'll never be wondering what's happening with your project.

03

Pricing

Q How do you structure pricing?

We offer both project-based and retainer pricing. Project pricing is fixed-scope with clear deliverables and timeline. Retainer arrangements work well for ongoing optimization and support. We'll recommend the best structure based on your needs during our initial conversation.

Q What's the typical investment range?

Projects typically start at $5,000 for focused automation work. Comprehensive marketing ops implementations range from $15,000-50,000+ depending on complexity. Retainers start at $3,000/month. We're transparent about costs and will tell you if your budget doesn't align with your goals.

Q Do you offer any guarantees?

We guarantee our work will meet the agreed specifications. If something we build doesn't work as documented, we fix it at no additional cost. We also provide a 30-day support period after project completion to address any issues that arise during real-world use.

Q What are the payment terms?

For projects, we typically work with 50% upfront and 50% on completion. Larger projects may have milestone-based payments. Retainers are billed monthly in advance. We accept wire transfer and major credit cards.

04

Technical

Q What platforms do you work with?

We're platform-agnostic and work with 40+ tools. Our primary expertise includes Make.com, n8n, HubSpot, Salesforce, Smartlead, Instantly, Segment, and major data warehouses. If you're using something else, we likely have experience with it or can learn it quickly.

Q Can you work with our existing systems?

Absolutely. We rarely recommend ripping out existing infrastructure. Our approach is to audit what you have, identify what's working, and build solutions that integrate with your current stack. We'll only recommend platform changes when there's a clear ROI case.

Q How do you handle data security?

Security is built into our process. We use secure credential management, follow least-privilege access principles, and can sign NDAs and DPAs as needed. We never store customer data on our systems — everything runs in your infrastructure or trusted third-party platforms.

Q Will our team be able to maintain what you build?

Yes, that's a core principle. Everything we build comes with documentation. We design systems to be maintainable by your team, not dependent on us. We also offer training sessions and can provide ongoing support if you prefer not to manage things in-house.

05

Support

Q What happens after a project is complete?

You get 30 days of included support to address any issues. After that, you can manage everything independently using our documentation, or we can set up a retainer for ongoing optimization and support. Many clients start with a project and transition to a retainer for continuous improvement.

Q How quickly do you respond to support requests?

For retainer clients, we respond within 4 business hours for standard requests and within 1 hour for critical issues. Response times and SLAs are defined in your service agreement. We also provide emergency contact options for truly urgent situations.

Q Do you offer training for our team?

Yes. We can provide hands-on training sessions, recorded walkthroughs, and written documentation. Training scope is defined during project planning. Our goal is to make your team confident and capable of operating the systems we build.

Q What if we need changes after the project?

We're always available for additional work. Small changes can often be handled as one-off requests. Larger modifications or new features can be scoped as follow-on projects. Retainer clients get a set number of hours each month for ongoing adjustments and improvements.
